ATV
repeater F1ZGM
Place of installation: Nimes (F1FCO)
Administrative person in charge
F1FCO
Take part in its operation: F1FCO,
F5AD, F6BES and F6HTW
Video
sources:
- Input 2320 MHz horizontal
polarization towards the centre town
- Input 1255 MHz horizontal
polarization towards the centre town
- Local test card with call
sign
Transmitter
10320 MHz:
- Frequency 10 320MHz
- Sound sub carrier on 6,5MHz
- Remote control sub carrier on
6,00 MHz
- Power 150 mW
- Antenna: 40 cm parabola
- Horizontal polarization
- Towards Marseille
Reception
1255 MHz:
- Antenna: double quad on
printed circuit in front of a reflector
- Preamplifier at the antenna
- Receiver built around a
satellite converter
Reception
2320 MHz:
- Antenna: double quad on
printed circuit in front of a reflector
- Inter digital filter, and
Arabsat standard converter at the antenna
- Receiver built around a
satellite
Remote
controls:
- This repeater is currently
automatic, it detects the presence of an ATV signal on
one of its inputs and returns it on 10 GHz to Marseille
- The 2320 MHz detection has
priority in front of that of the 1255 MHz
- If there are neither 1255 nor
2320MHz receipts, the 10 GHZ transmitter is modulated by
the test card.
Uses:
Any emission on Nimes on 1255 or
2320 is automatically transmitted towards Marseille, without any
human intervention for the moment.
This repeater is node of the
network and allows the Nimes connection towards Marseille
repeater F5ZAJ in
Marseille, on request of the Marseilles users, may retransmits
the Nimes signals on the Marseilles area.
Projects:
- The remote control will be
modified in the future; automatic detection will be
removed because it causes video Larsens in certain
configurations. The system of remote control will be then
in conformity with that of the network
- The frequency of remote
control will be 144,575 MHz
- DTMF Codes will start with #3
(four codes in all)
- A " Web camera "
will be installed on the pylon, it will film the town of
Nimes
- A second 10 GHz transmitter
will be installed in direction of the future repeater of Lure

final network
